Course Overview

The goal of our Web Developer Program is to prepare our students for entry level work as a Jr. Web Developer. Our full stack course is taught by industry professionals and the curriculum was chosen specifically to suit the needs of the South Florida job market. In our course you will learn to understand coding logic using PHP and JavaScript, web design using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, WordPress, and relational databases using SQL.

The small class-sizes enable us to foster an atmosphere of close mentorship, and we will often stay late or offer weekend help session to ensure that students get all of the help they need to succeed during the course.

What I’ll Learn

The basic framework of all websites. With HTML and CSS you will be able to create stunning web pages that your audiences will love.

JavaScript & jQuery
JavaScript is often referred to as the dominant front-end scripting language of the web. Along with HTML and CSS, it is one of the 3 core technologies of the web. jQuery is a JavaScript library that makes writing JavaScript easier.

A front-end framework that makes creating responsive websites easy and fun.

PHP is a very popular server-side scripting language. Sites like Facebook, Wikipedia, Yahoo!, WordPress, and many others are built with PHP.

Structured Query Language, or SQL, is the language with which we communicate with MySQL databases.

At last count, 27% of the web uses WordPress. Huge, right? WordPress development is a huge market and thus it is critically important to learn how to develop WordPress websites and custom themes
